PHSL President Ann Johnson was one of five authors who contributed to the research article “Unlocking the potential of digital therapeutics: The need for consistent and granular inclusion in drug compendia for managed care” published in the Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP). The research concluded that, “More consistent and complete information on DTx and PDT products is needed to help with patient access to these products and support existing processes for product reimbursement.” Ann was a member of AMCP’s Digital Therapeutics Advisory Group (AMCP DTxAG), which provided guidance to AMCP in its efforts to establish the leadership role of managed care pharmacy professionals in digital therapeutics.
