TrumpRx is a new U.S. federal program announced in September 2025 that aims to let Americans buy certain prescription drugs directly from manufacturers at a discount. Under the plan, the government operates a website (TrumpRx.gov), but it does not sell or distribute medications. Instead, the site will serve as a portal where consumers can search for a medicine and then be redirected to a participating drugmaker’s own direct-to-consumer platform to make a purchase. PHSL’s November poll asked respondents to consider the impact of the program, to which most answered that only select manufacturers or products will participate.
