PHSL President Ann Johnson and Consultant Ashley Ellek contributed to the July/August 2025 edition of Pharmacy Technology & Management Review (PTMR). In their Viewpoints article, Ann and Ashley examine a recent notice from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requiring retail pharmacies to indicate the country of origin on the outermost container of medications dispensed to consumers. The article also explores pushback from industry organizations and the operational challenges this requirement poses for pharmacies.
